Pon. Gai! He just wants to be understood. Incidentally, I think we all know why he’s so pissed off at Ryu and the universe in general. It isn’t Kaori he’s after.
Oto. I feel bad for the robot guy. He wants so badly to be human. Or a Vyram person or whatever. He’s like Lt. Cmdr. Data. He just wants to play the piano for himself, but all he can do is copy others.
Pon. I dunno about that, but this show does a weird thing … super sentai villains are often just assholes in rubber suits, aren’t they? But this show keeps the camera on the villains like two minutes too long in every episode. You start to feel kinda bad for the booze robot and the one who looks like Ryu’s dead girlfriend in a Touhou hat.
Oto. So let me ask you something. Why couldn’t Camera Dimension just have taken their picture when they were all standing there in a group? Ryu’s not-girlfriend could’ve been done with it in like two seconds. No more Jetman. Vyram wins.
Pon. It’s about the thrill of the hunt, man. You’d make a shitty villain.
Oto. I would not. I’d get shit done. So back to feeling bad about Grey and the villians having character. Now I just want Grey and Maria to end up together. Ryu just has to come to terms with the fact that his girlfriend is gone. She can never be her old self again.
Pon. I don’t think he minds that much.
Poor Kaori … she really cannot read the mood.
Oto. Why have I not seen this douj in my travels? You’d think I would’ve come across it at some point.
Pon. Are there super sentai doujinshi? I guess there would be.
Oto. Yeah, man! Why wouldn’t there be?
Pon. It’s like Rule 34, but … Rule 三十四.
